The PPE 68RFE HD Cast Aluminium Deep Transmission Pan is engineered to improve cooling performance, increase transmission fluid capacity and provide greater durability for one of the hardest-working automatic transmissions in the Ram lineup.

Whether you're towing a caravan, hauling heavy loads or travelling remote Australia, transmission temperature is one of the biggest contributors to automatic transmission wear. Increasing oil capacity helps reduce operating temperatures and improves thermal stability under sustained load.

Manufactured from premium A356.0-T6 heat-treated cast aluminium, the PPE transmission pan incorporates large external cooling fins and internal heat sinks to maximise heat dissipation while increasing structural rigidity. Compared to the factory stamped steel pan, the cast aluminium construction also provides increased resistance to impacts from rocks, road debris and off-road hazards.

Unlike the factory pan, the PPE design includes a magnetic drain plug, making routine servicing cleaner and easier without removing the entire pan. A dedicated 1/8" NPT port also allows installation of an optional transmission temperature sender for more accurate monitoring of transmission performance.
